There was this photography contest poster I saw in college that said "Putrajaya the Vibrant City!" and I thought, wth? Putrajaya is a boring place with just masses of concrete, metal and glass, and yeah, nice shooting lights every 31st August. But anyway I knew I was still too n00b to enter these competitions.
But oh well I headed home and just flipped through some sites to find myself on the mentioned contest's page. It was so exciting, my palms were sweating in the air-conditioned room, My feet paced the parquet floor side to side, front and back even while sitting firmly. I imagined all my crappy photographs going through some minor tweaks and improvements, perhaps going for some experimental photo-outings, and a chance to win something.
RM2000 for student category.
KAR MARN BRING IT ON!!!!
small woman with big gearQuickly rang Shaz up, asked him to help organize another putrajaya outing, impatiently waited for Saturday (oct 11) to come, and out of 10 or so, 4 people turned up - Yih Wen, Wai Seng, Shaz and I.
Blame the flash floods. Shaz and I almost died in the car man.
big man with small gearAfter playing with my flash for awhile, I started to experiment with some strobing (remote lighting effects). Shaz, the test subject of the day.
From Alamanda, we took off to the mosque behind the Prime Minister's office, to try and catch some sunset photos.
I may not be good at sunset photos, but I'm good at fooling around with my flash!
HABISLAH AKU. Started adi all the camwhoring and flashing.
worshiping the tripod wtf?

Then someone finally decided to go take some better, more useful and more productive photos of night lights and stuff.
AND THEN WE STARTED AGAIN LAH.
