Freshly Flown from New Zealand

This was a mini-photoshoot at Yo! Sushi Pavillion for Shaz's appearance in Star Metro featuring Nicole's weekly article.

Come on man, I would safely say that even Shaz himself wouldn't admit that we were focusing on the photoshoot. More on the FREE FLOW of premium quality sushi. Wooh!

Sisley at first we tried abit la. Facial expressions, body composure, choice of dish...

But after that, we almost died of sushi

"Putrajaya the Vibrant City!"

There was this photography contest poster I saw in college that said "Putrajaya the Vibrant City!" and I thought, wth? Putrajaya is a boring place with just masses of concrete, metal and glass, and yeah, nice shooting lights every 31st August. But anyway I knew I was still too n00b to enter these competitions.

But oh well I headed home and just flipped through some sites to find myself on the mentioned contest's page. It was so exciting, my palms were sweating in the air-conditioned room, My feet paced the parquet floor side to side, front and back even while sitting firmly. I imagined all my crappy photographs going through some minor tweaks and improvements, perhaps going for some experimental photo-outings, and a chance to win something.

RM2000 for student category.

KAR MARN BRING IT ON!!!!

Quickly rang Shaz up, asked him to help organize another putrajaya outing, impatiently waited for Saturday (oct 11) to come, and out of 10 or so, 4 people turned up - Yih Wen, Wai Seng, Shaz and I.

Blame the flash floods. Shaz and I almost died in the car man.

After playing with my flash for awhile, I started to experiment with some strobing (remote lighting effects). Shaz, the test subject of the day.

From Alamanda, we took off to the mosque behind the Prime Minister's office, to try and catch some sunset photos.

I may not be good at sunset photos, but I'm good at fooling around with my flash!

HABISLAH AKU. Started adi all the camwhoring and flashing.

worshiping the tripod wtf?

kicking my tripod wtf.

Then someone finally decided to go take some better, more useful and more productive photos of night lights and stuff.

AND THEN WE STARTED AGAIN LAH.

G_G

ok but the rest are lame so nevermind. Headed to Putrajaya Lake Club for the last hour.

ok that's all. AAAAHHHHH EXAMS COMING (like I've always been saying for the past 2 years and a half), so please please please encourage me to concentrate on my revision. I dowanna fail all 3 papers again. Ok see yall soon.

Oh and happy bday Maddy!

I didn't win anything, but at least I learned some lighting. looks n00by, but practice makes perfect! =]

My name is Jon without a H. They call me the boy who's in the wrong academic course - I'm doing ACCA. You'll figure out the rest.

I sway in and out of basketball, rock climbing, frisbee and gym-ing as sports, but I always stick to graphic design and photography. My dream is to either start and develop an advertising and design company, or design and implement a revolutionary accounting and control system for a multi-national IT company. Sounds crazy?

Watch me!

Oh, and I'm a massive Taylor Swift fan.
