Campur Chart @ Laundry

on Wednesday, February 20, 2008

Hah. I knew you thought I was gonna abandon you right. Well. YOU THOUGHT WRONG, BUDDY.

So, as an ACCA Student, struggling to even hold my pencil in place, I received my results through e-mail at about 2pm on Monday. I was wondering why I had been calm for the whole day while the last few semesters, my heart would just not get enough of those 21km marathon races, even for a week before results. It's probably the boredom of sitting in the com lab, refreshing my inbox, looking at others jump-foh-choy, refreshing my inbox again, looking at others crying in dismay, refreshing my inbox againnnn...

and finally seeing that I've passed all my papers. hehe. =]

Every semester it would be the same chee-cake (chinese word?) fear of failing the one difficult paper out of the 3 or 4 I take every semester. And every February and August I just scratch through my papers. Probably the Luck God still likes me for this Chinese New Year.

So another round gotten through... the last 2 semesters left for me. I think it has given me some motivation to finish the course rather than a relief that i passed a failing paper. Hmm. that's what I like. =]

* * * * * * * * * * * * *

OKEEEIIIIIIIII time for some more pictures of an event that's at least three million four hundred and sixty-two thousand seven hundred and ninety-one years old.

Fly FM's Campur Chart made it to Laundry Bar like... 5 weeks ago? Hah already I can't remember. Yennyway, we actually went for it just to support one of the members of Silent Scream, namely the vocalist, John Oomen.

Who happens to be my accounting lecturer.

What kinda rocker goes "So if you credit the Cost of Control account, what do you debit then?"

Then suddenly Albert played with my camera for awhile and I still have no idea what on earth he was doing with it.

He calls it the Ta Fei Kei shot.

"Class, I can't hear. Tell me again, what do you debit?"

FWOAARRRRRR here you can see Kristyn's killer frown.

If you even squeek at her when she's frowning, she'll come and CLOBBER YOU TILL YOU BECOME A BOX OF SAND. or something.

That's Albert. Yeah, and Cynthia too, if you wish.

Apparently Silent Scream's members terdiri daripada an accountant, a lawyer, a doctor and an engineer.

Dayumn. what has rock music done to the corporate professionals.

Frequency Cannon's KuaChee, AdamC and Sorry.

Okay more rushing for my thesis now!

Catch you again soon.

It means I'm in one utama now.
With free wifi. How cool is that.

Listening to my favouritr music, sms-ing my project coordinator for meetings, playing iSnake, and ultimately, last but not least, the one only, not to forget, always on the list, all-time favourite...

(inhalesssssssssssss)

Blogging from the iPhone.
Haah. Isn't this the life I had imagined.

"uhh, no?! You imagined yourself to also look cool I'm your unique ipod earphones with handsfree."

wtf.

Well, I know I haven't blogged properly for awhile. No more funny posts for me to crack myself up when I read them again in a couple of days. No more cool photoshop editing to sharpen my spoofing skills. No more "10 things you should do to still feel cool after your friend ditches you after movie (hehe no implications, deb)". It seems like its time to concentrate on my studies, exams... and my thesis. Yes, the nerve-wrecking, mind-blowing, extraordinary, supercallyfragging time consuming 5000-word research and analysis project that Cynthia is doing too.

Maybe its time for me to take a break from blogging and really get my time management straight. Then I can finish all my other things without worrying about not blogging frequent enough. Maybe I should just ground myself. Like literally. Then I can 'find my roots'. wtf.

Ok I just kidded.

I'm just feeling a little insecure about myself. I need some help.

Please suggest a solution for my unknown problem:
a) bite on plastic fake limes attached to a fake decoration lime tree.
b) shuffle on the tar road till my shoe sole wears out
c) take a standing advertisement banner and start waving it around
d) go home and sleep.

Hmm I guess the answer is obvious.

Okay then I'm off to find some juicy limes!

Will be back with more randomizationingnessed.

Something you shouldn't brag about on your blog

on Friday, February 08, 2008
at 6:23 AM

One thing you SHOULDN'T go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about...

are your nails.

Because it's not just a turn-off, but also a non-turn-on. Explaining so much in detail, how you polish and paint and scrub and wax and vacuum your nails ain't gonna qualify for a proper blog entry, so pleaassseeeee girlsss, you CAN blog about it once in awhile, but please don't go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about it for TEN alternating entries.

I mean, blogging your memories on how you strived to achieve your titik peluh nail decoration success doesn't have to be s0o00o0o0o0o0o00o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o elaborate until you have to explain how you assemble the formation of beads and sequins and buttons and diamonds on your nails.

And then showing your skills of successfully holding objects with your long nails... Is just worst. Or even saying "see! it even matches with my phone!"

Remember girls. Once in awhile.

And then ar, grow your nails so long, then decorate so nicely and grand until it be comes so delicate, that you can't even take a picture properly.

Taking a picture, or breaking a camera.

And the most unique line I've heard in my life of any-significant-nail-polishing-knowledge.

"The most nail-matching outfit ever."

By Gods. What have we turned into. Matching clothes to NAILS. Piaaaangggg Ehhhhh I cannot stand it already laaa if you wanna brag about something, brag la about how you zh'ng your iPhone or something.

Show how you can turn some boring theme into something lively and vibrant!

Default theme.

Deep rose.

Blueprint Blue.

Dark Metallic Gold.

Children's Yellow.

See!!! This is the kind of thing you should brag about! So interesting and refreshing.

Interesting and refreshing.

Interesting and.

Interesting....

Hmm...

Did I just see a... okok let's have a another look at what we saw...

OMGWTFPINEAPPLETARTSBBQ!!! It's the iPhone!!! OMG OMG!! and it's finally unlocked!!! OMG!!! This IS SOOOo0o0o ok let's have another good look at it.

Yes i'm still here.

Still figuring out why my pc is the only one which can't upload pictures in this house of 7 other computing devices. Hmm.

Anyway, I thought I could have used some eye candy at the Quiksilver Revolution Tour 2.0 which happened at Sunway Lagoon Beach about 138 087 631 years ago. So, my good public figure friend Shaz (ahahahahaha) got me a media pass to attend the massive party.

My name is Jon without a H. They call me the boy who's in the wrong academic course - I'm doing ACCA. You'll figure out the rest.

I sway in and out of basketball, rock climbing, frisbee and gym-ing as sports, but I always stick to graphic design and photography. My dream is to either start and develop an advertising and design company, or design and implement a revolutionary accounting and control system for a multi-national IT company. Sounds crazy?

Watch me!

Oh, and I'm a massive Taylor Swift fan.
