Dear Jon,

How are you holding up with life? Are you still coping with your studies? How about your other activities? I heard you're planning this big rave event, that was supposedly to be held in September this year, but couldn't obtain the venue? So i guess it's pushed to next year, huh. Well, all the best with the organizing.

I've also heard rumours about you catching up with some new 'people' these days. Haha but i doubt you'd be tied up anytime soon huh.. looking at how you came around with your last 'person'... Haha just playing witcha, buddy.

Congratulations on your progress test too, i know you did your best. They seem to be finally over, huh. Haha, yes, i did catch you foosing at Asia yesterday afternoon. But oh well, it's satisfying to give yourself a treat once in awhile. Friggin Seven Aerials! How did you do those!?

Well, i don't have much time left, now. gotta catch up with my sleep. Been staying up all week for my exams too! Anyways, i've been reading your blog lately and you seem be caught up with self-conflicts and social problems. I won't say i wholly understand what you're going through, but i'd say, you just need to know yourself better, and you need to love yourself more. I know it seems like it's not a very deep statement, but factually behind all of this, is the fundamentals of how you live in this world, and how you would want this world to live in you. So here's my question for you. What do you think of yourself? What do you like about yourself? Or rather, how would you describe yourself, if you were to introduce yourself to someone new? What would you call yourself? Who are you.

What is your identity.

Do you think of yourself as someone interesting?

Or maybe just someone who's just here, on earth,
like every other person who doesn't know what their purpose is in life?

Perhaps you're placed here just to balance the human equation,
so that everyone else can just live their own lives,
minding their own business, without regarding you as of any importance...

Or maybe in practical terms, you just recognize yourself through the work you do, and the course you're undertaking.

Or, if let's say, we move back in time...
is your identity originated from the place you were previously from?
Do they see you as someone who came from where you lived before...
And not as someone who is adaptable and fresh in the subject of current matters?

Or maybe now you're just known as a student from your college..

How bout your past memories and experiences.

Are they included in your origins of identity?

Or you're just a role in your group of friends,

and whenever you venture out into the world,

everyone knows you as 'his' or 'her' homey.

Perhaps you're just seen as what your favourite past times are...

Your favourite music...

Your favourite sport...

Your favourite food...

But all of these are merely little elements of yourself,

which do not qualify to portray your whole.

What is your identity, jon?

What do you see yourself as?

How about the your love and affection for someone?

Would that be of any significance,

in how you project yourself?

When someone calls you...

What would they think of you?

When they dial your number, when they search for your contact,

what goes through their mind?

Do some people only recognize you through your technical skills in, let's say,

design?

Or maybe they just recognize the lame dumb stuff you do,

and how it makes them laugh every time they reminisce

about those moments.

Tell me about your true self, jon.

Who are you.

Show me what's underneath the skin.

behind those eyes.

inside that heart.

In the end, you will find yourself spiraling around the emptiness or tied up in a knot,

unsure of an exit, afraid of exploring,

and then you just sit in the darkness, waiting for someone to set you free.

I wouldn't think that will happen,

to you, to me,

or to anyone, here on earth.

The choice is yours,

whether to just do what's right,

or what we think would be right in the nature of our identity.

Many of them tell you to stay cool...

don't worry...

go with the flow...

and everything will be okay.

but it might not.

So this is your opportunity, jon.

Look into your future, don't just focus on the things in front of your eyes.

See who you think you would be in the future,

See who you want to be in the future,

And see who you are in the future.

make yourself.

into your own future.

Inspire.

Then, you would have truly discovered,

Your identity.

My name is Jon without a H. They call me the boy who's in the wrong academic course - I'm doing ACCA. You'll figure out the rest.

I sway in and out of basketball, rock climbing, frisbee and gym-ing as sports, but I always stick to graphic design and photography. My dream is to either start and develop an advertising and design company, or design and implement a revolutionary accounting and control system for a multi-national IT company. Sounds crazy?

Watch me!

Oh, and I'm a massive Taylor Swift fan.
