Acquaintance

I can never really conclude whether or not I feel close to them, still, or even since the beginning. I can't say we fully accept and understand that the only underlying principle which bonds us together is that of our backgrounds, where, together we shared them for 5 years or so, taking advantage of the fact that we are only in common from the way we talk about ourselves and others, the things we used to do back in the school-uniform days, the outings and trips we organize, and how we trust each other to be ethical and moral souls. But other than that, we are all tens of worlds apart, only acknowledging our commonality to be our only bond which keeps us coming back to update each other about our mundane lives and activities, blinded from reality, elaborated by the diversity in lifestyles and visions each of us maintain for ourselves. The ultimate question I propose to myself is, what is friendship? does friendship revolve around a social contest? to see who has more friends for the sake of a popularity chase of some sort. Or is it a catchnet just for your comfort in times of insecurity and panic? Or maybe it's just a contract between two souls connected to one another through a thread unbreakable by physical impairment, but able to be fractured by the tip of pen or the flux in a voice tone, altering the human ego and esteem. What bothers me more is the way we look at each other, demand an expected level of understanding, trust and comfortable exchange of silence and profanities in our rants and chants, without a drop of skepticism or introversion. The chemistry behind relationships between two or more human beings, labelled as the ignition of a friendship bond, further excruciates my wandering thoughts. All may boil down to my personal insecurity, questioning the insignificant, the taken-for-granted, the unnecessary. But there is, though, some truth to this insight, that fark. that was damn lame. Bah. I'm warming up my psd-blogging skills la.Labels: life around me

Merry Christmas

Since my exams, it's been really hectic. But I can't say I've been busy for 25 hours a day. At least I tried really hard to fit in as much activity into my wasted-every-semester 3-week holiday. Had so many friends come back this time around, It was really hard keeping track of everyone and organizing events. Everything was clashing and nyarghh. You know that feeling where you just have to sigh and reply your friend to say that you're having a family dinner tonight and you can only drop by later. Nimmphhhurghhiaaahhh. But at least I got to see half of the two worlds. =] Did loads of work with cynthia the past week, it's all hush hush till she launches her new fashion blog, so keep updated on it at her personal blog. Even I am really excited! *Cyn: I haven't checked, but I totally bet you seriously deleted the 'demon' picture. >.<After half a year, my dreams of pursuing strobing (professional lighting for photography) have finally realized partially. I really have to thank my dad for my birthday money that funded the hundreds of ringgit flown out of my wallet. Gosh, I better speed up my designs to earn back some cash. Eh eh oh ya! strobing people! let's go on an outing! will plan one with Shaz soon. keep you posted. Having cousins back from London added to the already-packed schedule. CHECK THIS OUT LAR. my fricking life organized into a whiteboard. The days that were crossed (excluding that first 4 days which were exam dates) represents FRICKING USELESS DAYS WHICH I SPENT SLEEPING AND EATING AND LAZING AROUND which gave me quite a surprise coz there were only 2. Compared to my previous holidays, i dunno, there were probably like. 21. Anyways, I've probably confirmed that my passion for blogging has died, but rest assured my passion for photography has not. If only I could fuse the two together and spark an idea that would keep me going at it consistently. But for now, I'm really busy busy busy with blog designs, currently on Shaz's, and just completed one for White Prints. She's an old friend from high school. Go visit okay. Currently she has 3 items in stock, but more will definitely come in the near future. Oh yeah. Yun. hahaha. My floorball soulmate. WHOOPA we finally played floorball, like 7 of us... and that's been THE HIGHEST ATTENDANCE for a floorball gathering in like years, man. years.Oh, right. yea floorball is something like ice hockey on land, usually played indoors on parquet, but wherever there's cement would be a good spot to start this high-paced fast ball game. No rollerblades but shoes, allowing for maximum agility and ball control creates a tiring but exhilirating experience in slapping the white hollow plastic balls into a cardboard box from the half court line. Floorball Commercial wtf So yea, I do blogskins, but I am yet to propose a standardized schedule for the service charges. If you'd like to find out more, please e-mail me at lohjonming[@]hotmail.com. Merry Christmas to all of you, and a Happy New Year to wish you all the best for your upcoming 2009. Labels: life around me

Hi. I'm looking for perspectives. Please post a comment on What ethical duties do you think you owe to your ex-boy/girlfriend(s)?A few examples would be: Not ignoring his/her calls just because you still hate him/her Taking him/her out for dinner because it's courteous to remember his/her birthday Offering him/her a bite at your carbonara as a friend at the dinner partyLabels: rediscovering myself

It's been a long while since I had an entry with long paragraphs. Well, it's been a long while since I've had some meaningful and useful posts. Okaaaayyyyy. It's been a long while since I've done anything about this blog. sorry. phone wallpaperFirst things first, I'm in the middle of exams, at least not having a paper tomorrow la. hehe kelian Cynthia. I'm done with my P7 Advanced Audit Assurance paper which was the most unconfident paper I've ever attempted. Use Sutha's Crapology also cannot crap about stuff IN THE SYLLABUS. Practically using my common sense to answer the questions wtf. Heading for my P1 and P3 resit papers, I arrive at about 8 or 9am and stay till about 9pm in college everyday. But today was realllyyyy productive so I was still burning the oil till 12 midnight. Along with the rest of my fellow ACCA coursemates, the absence of daylight only compliments our exponentially accelerated motivation to study. hehe. They call it a scandal. When it comes to fishy relationships and admiration between two people of the two genders. Scandal, scandal scandal. And now I'm supposedly involved in one. I notice her around, but don't know anything. aiya she's prolly chinese ed la, so as her identity been recently revealed. Oh well. At least I'm not closing in on her while she closes in on my close ones.I'm sure I'll be planning some photography outings after the 11th, but I have to settle my camera equipment first. Which still requires funding. Which requires work to be done for money to be earned. Which requires me to do some blog designs. Which takes days, weeks, months. well, days la. and maybe weeks. Yes I do blog designs, So if you'd like to find out more, please e-mail me and discussions on the specification requirements can shortly take place. But I'll be on to Khai Ling's first, so DONT DISTURB ME FOR A WEEK after the 11th! tq. Yeah anyway. Photography outings, with my new DSLR-owner sista, Emak as she calls herself, and Jote along with my dad, two new FZ-28 users, and LISA KHOO POH YIN WAHAHAHAAHAHA. Canon S5-er. Make sure you come back and be free ar. Last but not least of my updates, I wish I could spend it with you. =)

My name is Jon without a H. They call me the boy who's in the wrong academic course - I'm doing ACCA. You'll figure out the rest.
I sway in and out of basketball, rock climbing, frisbee and gym-ing as sports, but I always stick to graphic design and photography. My dream is to either start and develop an advertising and design company, or design and implement a revolutionary accounting and control system for a multi-national IT company. Sounds crazy?
Watch me!
Oh, and I'm a massive Taylor Swift fan.
