In Singapore, you may find many attractive concepts and lifestyles among the citizens and architecture of the city. They're the many identities of Singapore which attract foreigners from all over the world, rendering itself a unique place to visit.
Among the very modern atmospheres of the city is the architecture of it. The new
Vivo City Shopping Complex is so far one of the best modern concepts i've experienced. Well, besides spotting some very vibrant wall art in an MRT station.
Another key feature that gets the country going is the flooding tourists and their lost sense of familiarity, which just gives it a hyped pace and thrilling lifestyle. I mean, even the local citizens have to use a map! Not to say that the country is so small and they still have to use directories and all, but I mean... I MEAN! you know what I mean.
There was one night, we were out for ice cream, it was 1.00am and even having a Singaporean in the car, we went half round the country to get back to my aunt's apartment, just a few kilometers away.
No wonder the country's MRT business is so MASSIVE.
Singapore also has a very wide variety of eastern food. Effectively, with the 76% Chinese population over there, they've done a remarkable job maintaining the strong tastes of their traditional food in a globalized country. If I were
Ian Wright, I would very much like to have a go on one of those food-and-culture-experience sponsored trips to Singapore.
Yes, the tourists are still lost. The government there seems to give a fair bit of emphasis on their land and building maintenance. Adding to Singapore's uniqueness, the country strives to keep a clean and attractive environment. Apparently, every single HDB Flat and Apartment has to undergo a full repaint job in a different colour (i think), and fines for littering or spitting may start from $500 and go up to $1000. And evidently, the objective of such efforts has created an inviting and righteous environment.
My gosh. These tourists.
I mean, at least they've got a fountain-like area for little boys to enjoy themselves in some
clean squirting waters. Compared to...uhh... other countries.
Singapore's uniqueness is also derived from the talents and charisma of its very own citizens. We visited Bugis Street during out stay, and oh goodness, what bizarre skills they possess.
Above is a picture of man, holding a somewhat musical instrument having much resemblance to the Japanese
Shamisen, but having seemingly only two strings on it.
I mean like. TWO STRINGS?! what can you play with two strings?!
Above is a picture of another man bending down to write Chinese characters, with two brushes in his mouth. The bizarre thing about it is that he's writing two characters simultaneously.
HOW COOL IS THAT?!!
tell me what it says, though.I don't understand why i'm supporting Singapore so much. It's supposed to be
!! Or maybe I'm just quoting how weird Singapore is, with all the
bizarre and
unique things I saw. I mean not to say they're actually weird, but seriously there was one very
appealing item that caught my eye when were at Mustaffa's.
wtf 7 XL ?! what could that be for?!
