Wahai kawan-kawanku dari Kuala Lumpur.
It's supposed to be pouring like mamas eating bananas here in Kuching, but apparently the weather was very well inaccurately predicted. We did some jungle trekking at the Bako National Park yesterday which costed my dad and I RM185 per head. What a rip-off for just a 3-hour sweaty and aching hike through bushes infested with insects and monkies, while us having to refrain from scratching ourselves to death due to insect bites.
A thought for a beloved oneWhenever people say the word
Sarawak, usually all that would come to your mind is this:
But all that Kuching looks like is only so similar to what is located in Kuala Lumpur, just that it's much more peaceful and a little cooler than in peninsular Malaysia.
Also, the highest number of car horns you can hear in one day does not exceed
three. We did the cultural village today. Saw the 7 different types of houses and cultures adopted by the main ethnic groups in Sarawak.
Apparently, the name of the city did not originate from this mammal. It is said that neither the government nor spoken history can explain a clear reason for it.Okay that's all for today. I'll be back tomorrow, probably at midnight. Catch yall soon!

PS: When I was at the cultural village, I saw a very peculiar phenomenon that really caught my attention. I quote it "
It must be the aliens."Labels: holidays and whatnot
